Another remake of Paph. Saint Swithin, using one of the best "new" roths, Paph. rothschildianum 'Crystelle' FCC/AOS (photo) crossed with excellent Paph. philippinense 'Alford' AM/AOS. These have potential to be much improved over earlier crosses made of this popular hybrid. Plants for sale are blooming size in 5" pots with a leaf span of 16" to 19" and should bloom in the next year.
'Krull's King' was one of the first of the larger flowered leucochilums to be awarded from this breeding line. Matched with the form and darkness of 'Matt Saftenberg' should produce outstanding offspring.
'Krull's Perfection' received a 90pt FCC/AOS with it's impeccable form, 9.3cm natural spread, and medium to dark color. This seemed a perfect match with the exceptionally dark form of leucochilum 'Matt Saftenberg'.
This cross has just continued to improve as more superior forms of these parents have come on the market. This cross is proof of just that with remarkable form and color.
