Paph. philippinense 'Alford' AM/AOS is considered one of the best of this species, combined with the amazing Paph. Booth's Stone Lady 'Crystelle' AM/AOS. This cross should produce very nice flowers with white dorsals that have dark brown stripes and red or mahogany brushed pouches with a yellow background, on plants that will be a little more compact due to the influence of Paph. philippinense. Pictured is one of the first to bloom from the cross, it has very good form, clear color and very dark petals. The plants for sale are near blooming size in 4" pots with a leaf span of 13" to 15", and should bloom in about 2 years.
